ResearchReport
The ad production gap.
Creative now wears out in days. Most teams still take weeks to make it. Here’s where the workflow breaks, using published 2025–26 industry research.

01
Creative wears out in days, not months.
On Meta, a typical winning ad for a direct-to-consumer brand starts losing effectiveness within one to two weeks. On TikTok, some marketers see top-of-funnel video fade in three to five days. One 2026 benchmark puts a creative’s useful life at meaningful spend at three to seven days, down from two to three weeks in 2023.

Repetition is the reason. People scroll past anything they’ve already seen, and response falls sharply after a few exposures to the same ad.
02
Teams can’t make enough.
Only about 5 to 8 percent of Meta ads become real winners, so finding one takes volume. But the median performance team ships about 20 video ads a month and says it needs about 60.

Launches still take weeks, and handoffs are why.
41 percent of marketers say it takes three to four weeks to get a campaign from assets to live. Each handoff between roles adds a day or two. Count the handoffs in a normal ad and the waiting alone adds up to a week or two.

In multilingual markets, every idea multiplies.
A shop in Houston or Dubai rarely speaks to one audience. Two to three languages, three shapes and two or three openings to test turn a single idea into 12 to 27 separate versions. Each one is an edit someone has to make.
05
Results don’t reach the next ad.
76 percent of marketers say their advertising is weakened by ineffective creative or by not being able to measure it. When what worked last month lives in a dashboard nobody opens, each campaign starts from zero.
06
AI labels don’t survive the feed by themselves.
Researchers have shown that visible watermarks on AI video can be removed with free tools in minutes, and that social platforms often remove provenance metadata on upload. Any AI ad tool has to layer its signals and still be honest about their limits. How Ori layers provenance.
What we built in response
Four design decisions in Ori
- Read-back before making. Ori turns the brief into fields you can check, so nothing is lost between people.
- Versions are automatic. One approved idea becomes every shape and language at once.
- Results feed the next ad. Ori learns which openings worked and has the next version ready before fatigue.
- Layered provenance. Content credentials, an invisible watermark, platform AI labels and an account trail.
