Terms of Service

The agreement between your business and Zero Human AI for using Ori, the Origin model and the Zero Human website. Plain language first, with the binding detail underneath.

Version 1.0Last updated 16 October 2026
Draft for legal review. This policy describes how Ori works today, and is being reviewed by counsel before the pilot opens. Details in brackets are still being finalised.

The short version

  • Ori is for businesses. You need to be 18 or older and able to act for the business you sign up for.
  • You own what you upload and the ads Ori makes for you. We don’t train Origin on your content unless you opt in, in writing.
  • You approve what goes live. You’re responsible for the claims in your ads and for having the rights to what you upload.
  • Every ad carries content credentials and an invisible watermark. You agree not to remove them.
  • The pilot is free, with 20 films a month. Paid plans bill monthly, every 6 months or yearly, can be cancelled any time, and run to the end of the period you paid for.
  • Ori follows our Usage Policy and Likeness Policy. Breaking them can lead to suspension.

This summary helps you read the document. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover#

These Terms of Service (the Terms) are an agreement between Zero Human AI [registered entity name and number to be confirmed] (Zero Human, we, us) and the business you represent (you). They cover Ori, our AI ad agent; the Origin video model and any API access we give you; the Ori Studio; our websites; and related support (together, the Services).

These Terms include, by reference, the following documents. If they conflict, the order below decides which wins, from first to last:

  1. a signed order form or enterprise agreement between you and us, if you have one;
  2. the Data Processing Addendum, for personal data we process on your behalf;
  3. these Terms;
  4. the Usage Policy, the Likeness & Voice Consent Policy and the Copyright & IP Policy.

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. It isn’t part of this contract, but we keep to it.

2. The pilot#

Ori is in an invite-only pilot that opens in November 2026. During the pilot:

  • the Services are free, with an allowance of 20 approved films a month per workspace;
  • access is by invite. Invite codes are for the person or business they were issued to, and a code can be used only as many times as it allows;
  • features may change, appear or be withdrawn as we learn. Before we remove something you rely on, we’ll tell you in the product or by email;
  • we may ask for feedback, and may contact you about your experience. You can say no.

Pilot features labelled preview, beta or experimental are provided for evaluation. They may be less reliable, and they’re excluded from any service-level commitment.

3. Your account#

Ori is a business product. It isn’t for personal, family or household use. To create an account you must be at least 18, and able to agree to these Terms for the business you name.

You can sign in with a one-time email code or with a Google, Apple or Microsoft account. Keep access to those accounts secure: you’re responsible for everything done through your workspace, including by teammates you invite. Tell us straight away at security@zerohuman.co if you think someone has accessed it without permission.

Give us accurate information, and keep your contact email current: we use it for sign-in codes and important notices.

4. Using Ori#

Subject to these Terms, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your business during your subscription or the pilot.

You choose how much Ori does on its own

Ori can suggest ads, ask before posting, or post on its own within the rules and budget you set. Whatever mode you choose:

  • Ori never spends more than the budget you set, and never changes a running campaign without asking;
  • you can change the mode, pause Ori or disconnect an ad account at any time;
  • approving a cut, choosing a mode that lets Ori post for you, and connecting an ad account are your instructions to us. We act on them.

Connected accounts

When you connect an ad or social account, Ori gets read-only access by default. Permission to publish is a separate, explicit step, which you can revoke at any time. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms and advertising policies (see section 10).

5. Your content#

Inputs are everything you give Ori: briefs, voice notes, product photos and footage, logos, brand rules, notes and feedback. Between you and us, you keep all rights in your Inputs.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt and display your Inputs only to provide, secure and support the Services for you: for example, to make your ads, remember your brand, and publish where you tell us to. This licence ends when your Inputs are deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

We don’t use your Inputs or Outputs to train Origin or any other model unless you opt in, in writing. You can withdraw that opt-in for future training at any time. Your brand memory stays in your workspace, and is never shared with or used for other customers.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions your Inputs need, including from anyone who appears in them (see the Likeness & Voice Consent Policy), and that using them with Ori won’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.

6. The ads Ori makes#

Outputs are what the Services produce for you: plans, scripts, storyboards, video, voice, captions and versions. Between you and us, and as far as the law allows, you own your Outputs, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. You can use them commercially, in any market, without paying us anything beyond your plan.

Please read these limits

  • Similar outputs. Generative models can produce similar results for different customers, especially from similar briefs. Your ownership doesn’t extend to other customers’ outputs, and we don’t promise yours are unique.
  • Accuracy. Ori can make mistakes: in claims, prices, dates, translations, on-screen text or the way a product looks. Review every Output before you approve it. Ori checks each ad, but you remain responsible for what you publish.
  • Claims and law. You’re responsible for making sure the claims, offers and disclaimers in your ads are true, can be backed up, and meet the advertising rules of each market where they run.
  • Rights in what you ask for. If you ask for a specific brand, character, song, artwork or person you don’t have rights to, the Output may infringe those rights. Our checks try to stop this, but you’re responsible for what you request.

7. Content credentials and AI labels#

Every export carries signed C2PA content credentials and an invisible watermark that identify it as made with Ori. When Ori posts for you, it also switches on each platform’s own AI label where one exists. See Content Credentials & AI Labels.

You agree not to remove, alter or obscure these signals, and not to help anyone else do so. Where a law or platform requires you to tell viewers that an ad is AI-generated or digitally altered (for example the EU AI Act’s rules on synthetic content), that duty is yours as the advertiser. We give you the tools to meet it.

8. What you may not do#

You must follow the Usage Policy and the Likeness & Voice Consent Policy. In addition, you may not, and may not help anyone else to:

  • get around, disable or test our safety checks, rate limits or access controls, except under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy;
  • use the Services or Outputs to develop, train or improve a model or service that competes with Origin or Ori;
  • copy, reverse-engineer or extract the source code, model weights or prompts behind the Services, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
  • access the Services by automated means, such as scraping or bots, except through an API we’ve given you access to;
  • resell, sublicense or provide the Services to third parties as a service bureau without a written agreement with us;
  • use the Services in breach of sanctions or export-control laws, or from a country or for a person they prohibit.

9. Real people in your ads#

Ori doesn’t put a real, identifiable person in an ad unless that person has completed our consent flow themselves: an identity check, a recorded consent, and a clear scope of brands, markets and time. Uploading a photo or a voice recording of someone isn’t consent. People can withdraw consent at any time. The full rules are in the Likeness & Voice Consent Policy.

10. Ad platforms and other services#

Ori works with services we don’t control, such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube, and sign-in providers such as Google, Apple and Microsoft. Your use of them is governed by their terms. Each platform decides whether to accept, run, label or remove an ad, and we aren’t responsible for those decisions, for their outages, or for the results your ads achieve.

11. Plans, billing and the film allowance#

The pilot is free. When paid plans open, the plans, prices, allowances and features on our pricing page, or in your order form, apply. Unless an order form says otherwise:

  • paid plans are billed in advance, monthly, every 6 months or yearly, and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled;
  • each plan includes a number of films a month, a maximum length per film and a monthly pool of finished seconds. A film counts when you approve it; plans, drafts, storyboards and change rounds don’t;
  • if you go beyond your allowance, extra finished seconds are billed at the pay-as-you-go rate shown on the pricing page. We tell you before you go over;
  • pay-as-you-go use without a plan is billed for the seconds of finished video in Outputs you approve;
  • on 6-month and yearly billing, your price is fixed for the term, and unused films can roll over for one month, up to one month’s allowance. Yearly billing also includes one Season boost a year (double films in one month you choose). Rollovers and boosts have no cash value and end with the subscription;
  • you can cancel at any time. Monthly plans run to the end of the month; 6-month and yearly plans run to the end of the term. Moving up a plan takes effect straight away, with the difference prorated; moving down takes effect at your next renewal;
  • prices exclude taxes such as VAT, which we add where the law requires;
  • we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of a price increase. It applies from your next renewal, never during a term you’ve paid for, and you can cancel before then.

If you buy a 6-month or yearly plan and aren’t happy, ask within 14 days of purchase and we’ll refund the unused part. Otherwise fees are non-refundable, except where the law requires, or where we end the Services without cause (see section 14).

12. Confidentiality#

Each of us may see the other’s confidential information: for you, your Inputs, plans and results; for us, unreleased features, pricing and security documents. Each of us will use the other’s confidential information only to perform under these Terms, protect it with reasonable care, and disclose it only to people who need it and are bound by similar duties, or where the law requires.

13. Feedback#

If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Services, we may use them without any obligation to you. This doesn’t give us any right to your Inputs or Outputs.

14. Suspension and ending the agreement#

You can stop using the Services and close your workspace at any time.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the Usage Policy, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if we must by law. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. In urgent cases, such as non-consensual imagery, child safety or fraud, we act first and explain after. You can appeal a suspension: see Safety & Enforcement.

We may also end the Services or a plan for any reason with 30 days’ notice. If we do, we refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

When the agreement ends, you can export your Outputs for 30 days. After that we delete your workspace data within 30 days, and from backups within a further 35 days, as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and disputes) do.

15. Changes to the Services and these Terms#

We improve Ori continuously. If we make a material change to these Terms, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you don’t agree, you can close your workspace before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Services afterwards means you accept the new Terms. Past versions are listed at the end of this page.

16. Disclaimers#

AI outputs are probabilistic. We don’t promise that any ad will be approved by a platform, reach a particular audience, or achieve any result, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, and to the extent the law allows, the Services and Outputs are provided as is, and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

17. Limitation of liability#

To the extent the law allows:

  • neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused;
  • each party’s total liability arising from these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and US$100.

These limits don’t apply to your payment obligations, to either party’s indemnity obligations, to breaches of section 8, or to liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

18. Indemnity#

You’ll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Inputs, from the ads you approve or publish (including their claims and offers), or from your breach of the Usage Policy or Likeness Policy.

We’ll defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the Services themselves, as we provide them, infringe someone’s intellectual property. This doesn’t cover claims that come from your Inputs, from what you asked Ori to make, from changes you made, or from your breach of these Terms.

The party seeking protection must tell the other promptly, let them control the defence, and give reasonable help.

19. Governing law and disputes#

These Terms are governed by [the laws of the jurisdiction where Zero Human AI is incorporated — to be confirmed]. If a dispute arises, each of us will first try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days of written notice. If we can’t, the dispute goes to [the courts of that jurisdiction — to be confirmed], unless a signed order form says otherwise. Either of us may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.

20. General#

  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over all or most of our business, and we’ll tell you if we do.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages at major cloud providers.
  • Notices. We send notices to your account email. You send them to info@zerohuman.co.
  • Language. These Terms may be translated. If there is a difference, the English version applies unless the law requires otherwise.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, with the documents in section 1, are the whole agreement about the Services. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver of it.
