How to report content made with Ori that infringes your copyright or trademark, how counter-notices work, and how rights holders can keep their works out of Origin’s training data.
The short version
- We respect intellectual property, and we expect customers to as well.
- If an ad made with Ori infringes your rights, send us a notice. We act on valid notices quickly.
- Customers can send a counter-notice if they believe a removal was a mistake.
- Rights holders can ask us to exclude their works from future training of Origin.
This summary helps you read the document. The full text below is what applies.
1. Reporting infringement#
Send notices to info@zerohuman.co with the subject line “IP notice”. Please include:
- your name and contact details, and, if you act for someone else, your authority to do so;
- the work or trademark you believe is infringed;
- where the infringing material is: a link, or enough detail for us to find it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review notices promptly. Where a notice is valid, we remove or disable the material in Ori and tell the customer. We can act only on content we host or published on a customer’s behalf; for copies elsewhere, contact the platform concerned.
2. Counter-notices#
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to use the material, reply to our notice with your contact details, the material removed, and a statement in good faith explaining why. We’ll pass it to the person who complained, and may restore the material unless they tell us they’ve started legal action.
3. Repeat infringers#
We close the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.
4. Trademarks and brand impersonation#
Customers may advertise only brands they own or are authorised to represent. Comparative advertising must be fair and lawful in each market. Report impersonation of your brand the same way as an IP notice.
5. Training data and opting out#
We record the sources of Origin’s training data, and leave out material we don’t have the right to use. When we collect publicly available material, we honour machine-readable opt-outs such as robots.txt and text-and-data-mining reservations.
If you hold rights in works you believe were used to train Origin, or want them excluded from future training, write to info@zerohuman.co with the subject line “Training opt-out” and enough detail to identify the works. We’ll confirm what we’ve done. More in Responsible AI.
